This section is something I feel is necessary both for myself, and for others. Here is where you will find stories of courage, and survival. These things are not fiction, and are presented here for others to learn from and to further the healing of those affected by abuse in this lifestyle.

Abuse is not widespread in this lifestyle. This section is not intended to imply otherwise. It is however, intended to show that it does exist and that it can be overcome. It is to further the knowledge of others as to the possibilities of abuse and it's consequences. As well, to give those who have been victims of abuse the hope that they need to continue to overcome the experience. Not to ignore it, but to heal from it. 

Abuse is a devastating and all encompassing situation, but it need not completely destroy one's life. This section is one of hope, courage and survival.
